Thanks for the comments. I am actually more into onsen and food. As for shrines / temples , definitely we will visit 1 or 2. I am very open to visiting any parts of Japan.
Currently , am considering Hokkaido , Kyoto and Osaka.
I see you have been to couple of countries. I think you should plan 1 for Singapore, so that I can play host to you.

Haru-chan is the best volunteer tour guide to show you around Kyoto. She is very kind and the most enjoyable friend you will find in Japan. I highly recommend having her show you around Kyoto. I had a great time with her.
